how do we ensure that sunglasses meet the standards?
Solcare sunglasses are independently tested by the University of NSW to ensure compliance with Australian / New Zealand standards and to ensure that they have an eye protection factor (EPF) of 10 (out of a possible 10). A 2003 Choice Magazine survey found that: 20% of suppliers in the Australian market did not meet the Australian standards

how do we ensure the right size?
Getting the right size is important to ensure that students are adequately protected. Solcare will provide your school with sample sunglasses to help students select the right size. A size chart is also provided on the our products page.

Solcare sunglasses are guaranteed against any fault in materials or workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. This warranty does not apply to normal wear, including lens scratching or accidental breakage.

how are solcare sunglasses labelled with student name?
All sunglasses are labelled with heavy duty adhesive label which is resistant to water, fading and sunscreen. The label is affixed to the inside right arm of the sunglasses. The cost of labelling is included in the price of your sunglasses.

is engraving available?
Yes, sunglasses can be engraved with the student’s name instead of using an adhesive label. However, most schools prefer labelling as the student name is easier to read. The cost of engraving is included in the price of your sunglasses.

are the cases also labelled?
